Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival in Arusha, a representative from Enea Africa Tours will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some leisure time to explore Arusha or rest after your journey, preparing for the upcoming safari adventure.
Day 2: Arusha to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, the safari begins as you head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey will take you through picturesque landscapes, and if time permits, you might visit the Olduvai Gorge, known for its significant archaeological discoveries. Once in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and home to a diverse range of wildlife. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, rhinoceros, and various other animals thriving in this unique habitat.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park
On this day, you’ll leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and head to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The journey offers stunning views and opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Upon reaching the Serengeti, you’ll be greeted by its vast savannahs and incredible wildlife. The Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, which might influence the specific locations visited during the game drives. You can expect to see a plethora of animals, including the Big 5, as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and more.
Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated to exploring the rich and diverse ecosystem of the Serengeti. Your expert guide will lead you on a full-day game drive, maximizing your chances of encountering a wide array of wildlife. You’ll have opportunities to see predators like lions in action, large herds of wildebeests and zebras, elegant giraffes grazing, and possibly even elusive leopards hiding in the trees. The Serengeti’s landscape offers breathtaking views and exceptional wildlife sightings.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Arusha, Departure
On the last day of your safari, you’ll have a final morning game drive in the Serengeti. It’s a chance to spot any wildlife you might have missed and soak in the last moments of this incredible journey. After the game drive, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha. Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time for shopping and collecting souvenirs before being transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
