Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team from Enea Africa Tours and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Take some time to rest and acclimate to the Tanzanian atmosphere.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a full day of game drives in this scenic park, witnessing a wide array of wildlife and bird species. Overnight at a lodge or campsite near Tarangire National Park.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Today, we visit Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and the vast number of flamingos that inhabit the lake. The park’s diverse landscapes provide opportunities to spot various animals, including giraffes, hippos, and numerous bird species. Overnight at a lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara.
Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park
The next two days are dedicated to exploring the iconic Serengeti National Park. Embark on extensive game drives across the vast plains, witnessing the extraordinary wildlife that roams freely here. The Serengeti is known for its Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move in search of greener pastures. Overnight at a lodge or campsite in the Serengeti.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, we head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at Olduvai Gorge for a glimpse into early human history. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and a haven for wildlife. Enjoy a game drive in the crater, offering the chance to see the Big 5 and a multitude of other animals. Overnight at a lodge or campsite near the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 7-8: Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience
These two days will be spent at Lake Eyasi, where you’ll have a unique opportunity to interact with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Experience their traditional hunting techniques, cultural practices, and rituals. The cultural immersion at Lake Eyasi offers a profound insight into the indigenous way of life. Overnight at a lodge or campsite near Lake Eyasi.
Day 9-10: Lake Natron
Next, we visit Lake Natron, a soda lake at the base of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the “Mountain of God.” Lake Natron is renowned for its flamingos and unique landscape. Enjoy guided walks around the lake and experience the tranquility of this remote region. Overnight at a lodge or campsite near Lake Natron.
Day 11-13: Kilimanjaro – Lemosho Route Trek
The next three days will be dedicated to the exciting trek up Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. We take the Lemosho Route, known for its scenic beauty and high success rates. The trek will be challenging but rewarding, as you climb through various ecological zones, from rainforests to alpine deserts. On the final day, reach Uhuru Peak, the “Roof of Africa,” and celebrate your accomplishment. Descend and overnight at a lodge in Moshi or Arusha.
Day 14: Departure
After breakfast, you’ll have the chance to explore Moshi or Arusha before our team transfers you to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your departure. Bid farewell to Tanzania with incredible memories of the diverse landscapes, wildlife, and the triumphant ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro.
